ABOUT OUR ASPEN ALKYLATE FUEL:

BETTER FOR MAN, MACHINE AND ENVIRONMENT

Aspen alkylate fuel keeps for 3-5 years compared with ordinary fuel, which keeps for 3-5 months..

Aspen Fuels

Aspen Fuels are the preferred brand of performance fuels for emergency equipment and municipalities. A synthetic, Aspen fuel burns cleanly and does not ‘go bad’ so keeps your equipment running smoothly. Aspen alkylate fuel also keeps the spark plugs and combustion chamber clean. Aspen can be stored for years without any deterioration in quality, which makes your engine easy to start even after standstill periods.

ENVIRONMENT

  • Aspen is low in olefins, which contribute ground level ozone formation, harming the environment.
  • The two stroke Aspen 2T contains a biodegradable high quality synthetic oil which to a high degree is based on renewable content.

Man

  • Aspen is virtually free from benzene, a cancer causing compound, which is found in ordinary gasoline.

Machine

  • Clean burning fuel – Engine stays cleaner, giving a longer lasting engine and less maintenance.
  • Aspen can be left in the tank without affecting the fuel system. The fuel can be stored considerably longer than ordinary gasoline without affecting the fuel quality.

Healthy for your Staff

Long term exposure to gasoline fumes can cause serious health effects for your staff who regularly use hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, chainsaws etc. Respiratory issues, headaches, and toxicity are eliminated with Aspen fuels. Aspen 2 and Aspen 4 are virtually free from harmful substances such as benzene, aromatic hydrocarbons or olefins; substances that can cause serious health problems.

Better for the Environment

Let our solutions help you lower your carbon footprint. There are numerous environmental benefits, such as reducing the formation of ground-level ozone (smog) by about 40%. The oil in Aspen 2 has been selected and developed for the future. It is completely synthetic with as much as 60% renewable content, it is biodegradable (more than 80% after 28 days) and free from both ash and solvents. The oil gives an extremely clean engine. In addition, the polyethylene plastic, from which the containers are made, has been selected with the environment in mind, and can be recycled to produce both materials and energy. When recycled, only carbon dioxide and water are produced. The Story Behind Aspen Alkylate Fuel

“Roland Elmӓng founded the Aspen company in 1988 on the shore of lake Aspen, north of Gothenburg in Sweden. He had the idea to produce a better fuel for chainsaws when he read an article in the Swedish newspaper “Skogen” about the problems faced by forest workers exposed to exhaust fumes from chainsaws and brushcutters.

He realized there were fuel components that would work much better – both for people and machines. The introduction of alkylate resulted in dramatically improved working environment for the Swedish forestry workers.”
