OUR COMMITMENT…
Star West Petroleum Ltd. is committed to promoting environmental excellence in our workplace and throughout our service area. We recognize that our operations, staff and work practices all play a vital role in protecting the environment we live in, work in and play in. We identify the potential dangers involved in the products we provide and will continually promote the safe delivery of these products. In addition, we actively practice preparedness to protect our clients and communities in the event of an emergency.
OUR PLAN…
To meet our commitment, Star West Petroleum Ltd. will:
- Consistently review our business operations/practices to promote a reduction in energy usage, including using sustainable products
- Communicate our company initiatives to our staff and contractors to encourage their participation in these efforts;
- Manage all projects, products and processes through their life cycles in a way that minimizes adverse effects to the environment;
- Provide training to our staff to support the management and safe handling of the products we carry, DEI practices and ESG Goals.
- Regularly review and update our company emergency response plan and response training in an effort to mitigate the likelihood of any significant environmental impact.
